MXsoft, powered by =ictSolve

Your datacenter configuration = under control.

MXsoft collects the configuration of your infrastructure and tracks what changes. Queue managers, Linux hosts, Windows servers, it does not matter. If it has configuration data, MXsoft can pick it up.

Why MXsoft

One place for all your configuration.

Configuration lives everywhere. In queue managers, on Linux hosts, in Windows servers, and in dozens of other systems. You track it in spreadsheets, but those go stale the moment you save them. And when something changes? Nobody knows exactly what, when, or who did it. MXsoft fixes that. The platform pulls configuration from every source and keeps a full history. You can see what changed and roll back to any previous version. We started in 2018. The idea was simple: get a grip on IBM MQ. Bring management time down, make deployment predictable, and collect the full MQ configuration in one central place. We still do that, but MXsoft has grown well beyond MQ. It now handles any technology with configuration data. Fully built in the Netherlands, European software. MXsoft is the platform behind [our approach](/en/#approach), the four steps we use to inventory, analyse, implement and hand over at your organisation.

Platform

What the platform does.

The core of MXsoft works the same for every technology. Same way of collecting, same version history, same reporting. Here are the main capabilities.

Discovery

Small agents figure out what is running in your environment. Installations, services, configurable objects.

Collection

MXsoft periodically pulls configuration data from all connected sources and brings it together in one platform.

Configuration history

Every configuration has a full version history. You can see what changed, when, and compare versions.

Visual web interface

All data in one web interface. Search, filter, compare, drill down.

Compliance and auditing

Test configurations against your own standards or baselines. Every change is tracked in an audit trail.

Real-time reporting

Connect MXsoft to your existing reporting and dashboard tools for up-to-date overviews.

API and CI/CD

Every data point is available through the API. Fits into your CI/CD pipeline and works with common automation tools.

AI-ready API

The API is built for AI use. Let AI tools analyse configuration data and suggest improvements.

AI-driven process automation

Use AI to automate processes. Complex integrations become simpler and the user experience better.

Queue and channel monitoring

Collect queue and channel status for reporting and automatic actions when something goes wrong.

Legacy applications

Map older applications too. Configuration and dependencies, so you know what is running.

AD authentication

Log in via Microsoft Active Directory with Single Sign On and role-based permissions.

Controlled access

Share configuration, not your passwords.

MXsoft collects configuration data so you can share it with administrators, customers, or AI tools, without anyone logging into your systems directly. The data sits in MXsoft, your systems stay untouched. Through forms you decide which changes requestors can make. You set the choices, and where needed there is an approval step in between. Nothing changes without sign-off. Want an AI tool to have a look? Give it read access to selected configuration through the API. It can run actions too, with or without an approval step. Everything gets recorded. That way you stay in control, even as you automate more.

Modules

Three modules now. More coming.

MXsoft works with modules per technology. There are three right now. But the platform is not limited: if there is configuration data, we can build a module.

IBM MQ

The complete MQ landscape

  • Queue Manager Discovery
  • MQ Object Collection
  • MQ Visualizer (topology)
  • Central Operations
  • MQ Automation
  • Self-Service and Self-Remediation

RHEL

Linux configuration, with history

  • System configuration collection
  • Compliance reporting
  • Configuration history

Windows Server

Windows configuration, traceable

  • System configuration collection
  • Compliance reporting
  • Configuration history

Your technology not listed? Get in touch. If it has configuration data, we build the module.
